There are three optometrists who provide eye assessments at the practice. Sonia Pellizzer has been practising since 1993 and has had specialist training in eye disease and therapeutic medication prescription in New York and Boston. Kim Hoang enjoys practicing general optometry and has particular interest in myopia management. She is also therapeutically endorsed, allowing her to prescribe medications to treat and manage specific eye conditions. Ky Lian graduated in 1995 and since then has completed further education in advanced clinical optometry. She was manager of the Contact Lens Clinic at the Australian College of Optometry, a teaching and public health institution in Melbourne. She is able to prescribe contact lenses in difficult situations such as after corneal graft surgery.
Kim has worked in optics for over a decade, she strives to provide you with depth and understanding through every aspect of your eye care. Her passion lies in children’s vision, contact lenses and treatment of ocular infection and disease. She enjoys travelling and gets her adrenaline rush from snowboarding, especially across mountains all over the globe.
Sonia enjoys listening and working with patients and families who have been coming to the practice for years, as well as developing relationships with new patients. She loves the challenge of providing second opinions to patients who have not had their eye related problems solved elsewhere.
Ky has a particular interest in contact lenses, colour vision and low vision assessment. She has previous experience in public health optometry, which now extends to providing excellent care to patients in our local community.
Hashini has a keen interest in myopia control, contact lenses & orthokeratology, and providing comprehensive, compassionate eyecare to everybody. Hashini Loves to travel and has visited over 30 countries, but now enjoys spending time with her son, husband, and German Shepherd.
The team at EyeQ Optometrists Camberwell have a combined 65 years experience in optometry and 85 years in dispensing – so there are no issues too hard for us to solve. Patients love our calm and relaxed atmosphere, and we are proud to be able to offer the latest in eye testing technology including OCT, retinal photography, pachymetry , topographer and visual fields. Our team’s experience is wide and varied and we have interests in all areas of eye health ranging from cornea and contact lenses through to macular degeneration and glaucoma.
