EyeQ Optometrists Eastgardens is a leading optometry practice that offers comprehensive eye examinations, prescription sunglasses, glasses and contact lenses for the whole family. Formerly known as Eyecare Plus, EyeQ Optometrists have taken over the practice since February 2022 to deliver clinical expertise through our optical services and our large range of products that we offer. We are committed to ensuring that your optical needs are met to the highest standards available in our industry. Our Optometrists Paola Pham and Nina Kolhatkar, and our Practice Manager Sarah Hawkes will ensure your eye health is monitored to the highest standards and that an appropriate prescription is found for all your eyewear needs.
Nina graduated from UNSW in 2020 with a Bachelor of Vision Science/Master of Clinical Optometry, and is therapeutically qualified. She first worked on the NSW South Coast, gaining much experience in detecting and managing all kinds of eye diseases, including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration and glaucoma. She particularly enjoys testing children’s vision, and has an interest in managing patients with dry eye disease. Now back in Sydney, Nina enjoys spending time with family and friends outside work, heading to the local beach for a walk and loves a game of tennis.
Paola graduated from UNSW with a Bachelor of Optometry in 2000, and has worked extensively in private practice both within Australia and abroad. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages, with a particular interest in contact lens fitting and the early detection of eye disease. She is up to date with the latest developments in myopia control. Paola is also fluent in Cantonese, and having grown up locally, loves heading to the beach with her young family whenever she can.
